Growing up many of us spent hours upon hours with our handheld gaming consoles and platforms like the Nintendo 3Ds and its many variations, with the different colors that were released, the different limited edition versions with video game decals on it, the lite versions, and the XL versions. The 3Ds and all its variations were the epitome of entertainment for many of us when we were younger and it is where many of us found out just how enjoyable video games could be and lead us down the path of video gaming, because of which many of us call ourselves gamers now. The nostalgia of the time hits us hard and quite a lot of people feel that you can no longer get the same type of enjoyment from the more recent games that are now being released. The 3Ds usually ran 16 bit or 32 bit video games that were relatively simpler and had much fewer game mechanics than the games we play nowadays, however the joy that those games brought us is still unmatched by most of the games of today and many of us would love to go back to a simpler time with games like the legend of Zelda, super Mario brothers, sonic the hedgehog, street fighter, animal crossing, and the Pokémon series. The Nintendo 3Ds has been great especially because along with supporting the older versions of the handheld games that we all know and love, it also has the newer versions of those games as well. However for many of us, the newer 3Ds might not be available in the country that we live in, might be too expensive for us, or might just be too much of an investment to actually buy one as we do not have enough time to get one and then collect games that we will also have enough time to play.

If you love the games of the 3Ds and want to be able to play the games in your free time but do not really want to buy the 3Ds and a lot of games along with it, or just can’t buy them, then you can always try and use a 3ds emulator to run the Nintendo 3Ds platform on other platforms like the your desktop computer or even on your smart phone. The 3ds emulator will match the platform you are using to the software of the downloadable video games in such a way that you will be able to run the games on the desktop or on the smart phone seamlessly. All you need to do is to go ahead and download the 3ds emulator and install it on the system that you wish to run it on. You can find a specific emulator for most platforms but the desktop computer and smart phone emulators are the easiest to use and come by. After you have downloaded the software simply run it along with the video game that you wish to play and enjoy the 32 bit experience.
